Xiaomi, a smartphone company from China has officially confirmed that HyperOS phones will be by default blocked by bootloader unlocking. To unlock HyperOS on your device, you may require permission on its forum, as the company said with regard to Android Authority.
If it is unlocked without any permission, the user won’t get any HyperOS updates in the future on the smartphone having MIUI or HyperOS. Speaking more, MIUI devices are generally disabled with Bootloader unlocking. Telegram was the first platform to report news regarding Bootloader restrictions.
To protect the device’s security, avoid data leakage, and provide users with a more secure and stable user experience, bootloader unlocking will be disabled by default on Xiaomi HyperOS.

The Xiaomi company also made it clear that the conditions only refer to the Chinese version of HyperOS. The company also said that users should wait for the official announcement on the Xiaomi Community website.
