The Samsung company has begun the global rollout of the stable One UI 6 update based on Android 14 which will bring many new features and improvements to the Galaxy devices. Previously, the company released 10 beta builds for the Galaxy S23 series before releasing the stable update.
The update brings lots of improvements to the user interface and expands the functionality of its devices. Basically, this move from Samsung will help the user experience new things on their devices.
These Samsung Galaxy devices are receiving the One UI 6 (Android 14) update:
- Samsung Galaxy S23
- Samsung Galaxy S23+
- Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra

The updated software promises to streamline the interaction with Samsung devices, offering revamped design elements and user controls. The changes are mainly done in the quick settings panel, lock screen, and smooth animations for better visuals, simplicity, and accessibility.
One UI 6 also revamps the aesthetic of Samsung’s interface with a new font, clear icon labeling, and a lock screen that directly integrates with the camera for swift photo-taking. The updates extend to Samsung’s virtual assistant, Bixby, with added language support for the Text Call feature.
Moreover, users will find more additions, such as refreshed weather and camera widgets and enriched data within the Weather application. The Samsung Keyboard introduces a contemporary emoji set, and the Gallery application has better multitasking features.
In the One UI 6 update, the company has introduced a new feature called Auto Blocker for better security for its devices. This feature automatically blocks any attempt to install apps from third-party sources or unauthorized sources while taking care of safety protocols.
