Snapdragon-Powered Samsung Galaxy S23 FE Likely to Hit Indian Markets

In October, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S23 FE, offering two versions of the device. One version runs on the Exynos 2200 SoC, and another is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip. Until now, the Snapdragon variant was only available in the US, with other regions including India receiving the Exynos model. However, this situation might change soon as the Snapdragon model of the Galaxy S23 FE is expected to be launched in India.

Flipkart, a leading Indian e-commerce platform has hinted at this upcoming release. They posted an image on their website in the “Upcoming Launch” section. This image, which was previously used for the S23 FE’s Indian launch in October, displays the phrases “The New Epic” and “Coming soon.” While the teaser doesn’t specifically mention the Galaxy S23 FE’s Snapdragon version, given that the Exynos variant is already available in India, it’s believed that this promotion is for the Snapdragon model.

Both versions of the Galaxy S23 FE share identical specifications, aside from the chip difference. Whichever model consumers choose, they will receive a phone with a 6.4-inch 120Hz FullHD+ Dynamic AMOLED screen, a 4,500 mAh battery supporting 25W charging, and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. The camera setup is also the same for both models, featuring a 50MP primary camera, a 12MP ultrawide lens, an 8MP telephoto camera, and a 10MP selfie camera.

This anticipated launch is significant for Samsung fans in India who prefer the Snapdragon variant, offering them an alternative to the Exynos version.
