Samsung has released a new update for the Galaxy Z Fold 2 with December 2023 security patch in the US. It is really good to know that this security patch is available not only for the unlocked models but also for the locked models of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2.
The security patch fixes security issues that were faced by users in the previous version of the device. No new features or changes can be seen, but the update makes the device more reliable as well as more secure.
Talking about the December 2023 security patch, the company recently revealed last week that it comes with 75 fixes for the known vulnerabilities, of which 54 were from Google software.
Users can identify the update for both models by their firmware versions:
- Locked models: F916USQS5KWK1
- Unlocked models: F916U1SQS5KWK1
