Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Series Now Getting One UI 6.0 (Android 14) Update

Samsung finally started releasing the One UI 6.0 update based on Android 14 for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, Galaxy S8+, and Galaxy S8 Ultra. Currently, the update is available only for European countries, which include Poland. This update is based on Android 14 and has some new features.

The One UI 6.0 update comes with firmware version X706BXXU5CWK7 for Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 and for Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+ and Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, the firmware versions are X806BXXU5CWK7 and X906BXXU5CWK7. This update comes with size of 2895.21 MB.

The update brings lots of new features and changes to the interface of the Galaxy Tab S8 Series. You will also see some improvements in the Lock Screen, Quick Panel, Calendar, My Files, and Reminder.

Apart from these improvements, the Galaxy Tab S8 series will get a November 2023 Android security patch along with updates for stock apps like Health, Clock, AR Zone, Notes, and more.

If you live in Europe and have a Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Series, you can check the update by going to Settings > Software Update and then check for updates. If the OTA appears on your tablet, then simply tap on Download and Install.
