Recently, Samsung has started rolling out the August 2023 Security Update for Samsung Galaxy S20 FE and now, Samsung is rolling out this update for Samsung Galaxy S23 Series. This update improves the system security and stability of the phone. This update also improves the device’s performance.
The Firmware version can be identified as mentioned below:
Galaxy S23 Ultra – S918BXXU3AWGJ
Galaxy S23 Plus – S916BXXU3AWGJ
Galaxy S23 – S911BXXU3AWGJ
For now, the update is only available for devices in these countries like Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, etc. We can expect the update for Indian and other region’s S23 series devices soon. The update size is around 1.4 GB. Now, if we talk about the Changelogs. First, you get the Security patch of August 2023. The update also improves the System Stability and Reliability of the device.
Now, if we talk about some noticeable changes, then the first change you will notice after the update is you get the new OneUI Version – 14.1.03.55. Another noticeable change is the new Camera Version – 13.1.01.53. The major bugs and issues are also fixed after this update that are present in the previous version. We can also expect the Battery issue to be fixed after this update as the size of the update is large i.e. 1.4 GB. Last but not least, we won’t get the new clock style and fonts that are introduced with Samsung’s new Z Flip and Z Fold 5.
