Samsung Emergency Sharing Feature is being Upgraded with One UI 6 Support

Emergency sharing works as a safety feature on Samsung devices that helps you send your location or the battery status to emergency contacts you have. Before, One UI 5 was introduced and has now been upgraded with One UI 6. The latest version can be identified through the app update version 15.0.00.27.

The recent update upgrades the features of the Samsung Emergency Sharing App to provide quality for users. Plus, many problems can be solved to give a better Galaxy experience. Anyhow, there have been no changes in its features.

If you want to update your Galaxy device, you can update it using the Galaxy Store or use the link mentioned here to download it from here. The size of this installation package update is 4.29MB. Compatibility for this app update is the Galaxy devices using Android 14-based One UI 6.

This Emergency feature helps you share your data, such as recent location or low battery notification with emergency contacts for a specific span of time.

This feature can be enabled by going to Settings > Safety and Emergency > Emergency Sharing option > Turn on Attach pictures or Audio toggles >Start Emergency sharing > Press Start and it is done.
