Xiaomi has officially confirmed the launch date for its next budget 5G smartphone, the Redmi A4 5G, in India on November 20. This will be the first smartphone in India to feature the latest Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 processor.
Xiaomi revealed that the Redmi A4 5G will have a 6.88-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, making it the first phone in its segment to offer this feature. It will also come with a 50MP main rear camera, a secondary camera, and a premium “Halo Glass Sandwich” design. The phone is powered by a 5160mAh battery with support for fast charging.
Many of the phone’s features are similar to those of the Redmi 14C, so we can expect it to support 18W fast charging. During the Indian Mobile Congress (2024), Xiaomi, in partnership with Qualcomm, announced that the phone will be priced under Rs. 10,000.
After the launch, the Redmi A4 5G will be available on Amazon.in, Xiaomi India’s online store, and offline retail stores across the country.
