Realme has set the launch date for its new phone, the Realme GT 5 Pro. This phone is part of the Realme GT 5 series, which started with a model launched in August. The Pro model is expected to have better features than the base model. Realme on its official Weibo account, has shared many details about the Realme GT 5 Pro and confirmed some key features.
The launch in China is scheduled for December 7 at 2 pm local time. A teaser shows the phone with a large circular camera module, but no more design details are shared. Realme says the GT 5 Pro will have an OV64B periscope telephoto sensor, calling it the “telephoto king.”
The Realme GT 5 Pro will have Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. It will offer up to 1TB storage and a BOE panel with 3,000 nits brightness. The phone will also have a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 sensor with image stabilization.
Reports say the GT 5 Pro will have a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen and a triple rear camera. The front camera might have a 32-megapixel sensor. The phone is expected to have a 5,400mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.
The base Realme GT 5 came with 150W and 240W charging versions. It was available in Flowing Silver Illusion Mirror and Starry Oasis colors.
