Realme 16 Pro Series has officially debuted in India, strengthening Realme’s position in the premium mid-range smartphone segment. The newly launched lineup includes the Realme 16 Pro+ 5G and Realme 16 Pro 5G, both offering a strong combination of high-resolution cameras, powerful processors, large batteries, and durable build quality. The devices will be available for purchase starting January 9 via Flipkart and the official Realme online store.
Realme 16 Pro Series Price in India and Availability
The Realme 16 Pro 5G is priced starting at Rs. 31,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The 8GB + 256GB model costs Rs. 33,999, while the top-tier 12GB + 256GB variant is priced at Rs. 36,999. Buyers can avail of an instant bank discount of up to Rs. 3,000 on select credit cards.
Meanwhile, the Realme 16 Pro+ 5G starts at Rs. 39,999 for the base 8GB + 128GB configuration. The 8GB + 256GB variant is priced at Rs. 41,999, and the top-end 12GB + 256GB model costs Rs. 44,999. Realme is offering an instant discount of up to Rs. 4,000 on eligible bank cards.
Color options include India-exclusive shades, with Orchid Purple available for the Pro model and Camellia Pink exclusive to the Pro+ variant.
Display, Performance, and Software
The Realme 16 Pro+ 5G features a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, up to 144Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of 6,500 nits. The Realme 16 Pro 5G comes with a slightly smaller 6.78-inch AMOLED panel, offering similar refresh rate and color accuracy with up to 1,400 nits of brightness.
Under the hood, the Pro+ variant is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, while the Pro model runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Max processor. Both smartphones ship with Android 16-based Realme UI 7.0 and feature advanced IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K certifications for water and dust resistance.
Camera and Battery Highlights
Both smartphones are equipped with a 200-megapixel primary rear camera. The Pro+ model includes a 50-megapixel ultrawide sensor, while the standard Pro version offers an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens. On the front, both devices feature a 50-megapixel selfie camera, with the Pro+ supporting 4K video recording at up to 60fps.
Powering the devices is a massive 7,000mAh battery with 80W fast wired charging, ensuring extended usage and quick top-ups for heavy users.
