Poco M8 5G has officially gone on sale in India, bringing aggressive introductory pricing and a strong feature set to the mid-range smartphone segment. The Poco M8 5G price in India starts at Rs. 18,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The 8GB + 128GB model is priced at Rs. 19,999, while the top-end 8GB + 256GB version costs Rs. 21,999. The smartphone is available in Carbon Black, Glacial Blue, and Frost Silver colour options and is being sold exclusively via Flipkart.
As part of a limited-time launch offer, Poco is offering a reduced starting price of Rs. 15,999 for the first 12 hours of sale, from 12pm IST on January 13 till midnight. This includes a Rs. 1,000 launch benefit. Additionally, buyers can avail of a flat Rs. 2,000 instant cashback using ICICI, HDFC, or SBI credit and debit cards.

The Poco M8 5G features a 6.77-inch full-HD+ 3D curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and peak brightness of up to 3,200 nits. It is powered by the 4nm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor, paired with up to 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB UFS 2.2 storage.
Running on Android 15-based HyperOS 2.0, the device is promised four years of Android OS updates and six years of security patches. In terms of cameras, it sports a 50-megapixel primary sensor with a 2-megapixel depth camera, along with a 20-megapixel front camera capable of 4K video recording.
The handset packs a 5,520mAh battery with 45W fast charging and 18W reverse wired charging. It also comes with IP65 and IP66 dust and water resistance ratings, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and SGS MIL-STD-810H durability certification.
