OnePlus is looking for enthusiastic community members to join the OxygenOS 15 Closed Beta Testing (CBT) program for the OnePlus 11R. OxygenOS 15 brings a host of exciting features designed to enhance user experience, focusing on personalization, performance, and convenience. It introduces a refreshed UI with smoother animations and improved efficiency, ensuring a faster, more responsive interface. Users can enjoy advanced multitasking capabilities, enhanced privacy features, and seamless integration with smart devices. Gaming enthusiasts will benefit from Game Space upgrades, delivering a smoother, lag-free experience.
Additionally, AI-powered optimizations improve battery life and app management, while customizable widgets and themes allow users to tailor their device to their preferences.
Recently, the OnePlus 12R got the stable build of OxygenOS 15 which has many new features except some AI features.
How to Participate in OxygenOS 15 Closed Beta Program
To qualify, participants must meet the following criteria:
- Own a OnePlus 11R 5G device.
- Be an active member of the OnePlus Community.
- Be ready to provide feedback and report issues regularly through the Feedback App.
- Be willing to join the CBT Telegram group for discussions with the OnePlus team and other testers (link provided upon successful application).
Things to Keep in Mind
- Work-in-Progress Software: This beta build is experimental and may contain bugs or instabilities.
- Backup Recommended: Ensure your data is backed up as some issues like crashes or app incompatibilities might occur.
How to Apply
- Application Period: November 12th to November 14th (applications close after this period).
- Quota: Only 2000 users will be selected.
Prerequisites:
- Ensure your OnePlus 11R 5G is running one of the following software versions:
- CPH2487_14.0.0.807(EX01)
- CPH2487_14.0.0.808(EX01)
Steps to Apply:
- Go to Settings > About device > Tap Up to Date > Tap the icon in the top-right corner > Select Beta Program.
- Follow the instructions to submit your application.
Post-Approval Process
Once approved, you can download the beta update:
- Go to Settings > About device > Tap Download Now.
How to Roll Back to Stable Build
If you wish to return to the stable version of OxygenOS:
- Download the rollback package (It will updated soon).
- Copy the file to your phone storage.
- Go to Settings > About device > Version > Tap Build Number 7 times to enable Developer Mode.
- Navigate to Settings > About device > Up to Date > Tap the top-right button > Local Install.
- Select the rollback package, extract it, and tap Upgrade.
- After the system completes the rollback, restart your phone.
Note: Rolling back will erase all device data, so ensure you have a backup before proceeding.
