The much-anticipated OnePlus Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro are set to launch in China this month, and fresh details continue to surface daily. The latest revelation is a leaked promotional poster for offline stores showcasing both devices in three different colors. While the images are not entirely clear, they give us a glimpse of the design.
The poster also reveals an interesting detail about the battery. It suggests that both the Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro will feature a massive 6,400 mAh battery. This contradicts earlier rumors, which claimed the two models would have different battery sizes. However, if the promo is accurate, both phones will share the same battery capacity.
In addition to the battery, the poster confirms other exciting features. Both phones will boast a 120 Hz refresh rate for smoother visuals and an impressive peak brightness of 4,500 nits. They also include a new Wi-Fi G1 chip that promises faster and more reliable connections.
Under the hood, the devices are powered by Snapdragon 8 series chips. According to past leaks, the Ace 5 will use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, while the Ace 5 Pro will pack the Snapdragon 8 Elite for even more power.
OnePlus fans outside China have something to look forward to as well. The Ace 5 is expected to launch globally as the OnePlus 13R during the company’s event on January 7.
