OnePlus is gearing up to release two new models—the OnePlus Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro in December according to a tip from Digital Chat Station. Both models are set to share similar features including a “1.5K” flat display an optical fingerprint scanner a sturdy metal frame and support for fast 100W wired charging.
The OnePlus Ace 5 will come with a 6,200 mAh battery, while the Ace 5 Pro will feature a slightly larger 6,300 mAh battery. The Ace 5 is expected to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor while the Ace 5 Pro will reportedly use the higher-powered Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.
Camera-wise, the OnePlus Ace 5 will likely include a 50 MP main camera, an 8 MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2 MP sensor, which may be more decorative than functional. According to an earlier rumor, the Ace 5 Pro may go a step further with the addition of a periscope telephoto lens.
It’s possible that the Ace 5 will be released internationally under the name OnePlus 13R,, following the pattern from last year, when the OnePlus Ace 3 launched globally as the OnePlus 12R.
