Recently, OnePlus released the OxygenOS 14 Open Beta 1 update for the OnePlus 9/9 Pro. Now the company has announced the first open beta OxygenOS 14 update based on Android 14 for the OnePlus 9RT. This earlier version of this update will have new features and improvements to OxygenOS 14 which you can experience on your device.
However, always remember that this is the first beta build so some features might work or might be missing on your device. But don’t worry, those features will be added in later updates.

How to Apply for OxygenOS 14 Open Beta 1 for OnePlus 9RT
OnePlus has made this process similar to the CBT program but the difference is that the more users cap. Also, ensure that your device is updated to the latest OxygenOS 13.1 version before applying.
- Application Period: From November 15 until the quota of 5000 users is reached.
- Eligibility: Confirm your phone is updated to detectable versions MT2111_13.1.0.592(EX01) or MT2111_13.1.0.591(EX01).
- How to Apply: Go to Settings > About device > Up to date > Tap the icon on the top right > Beta program > Follow the steps.
- Review and Version Receipt: Applications will be reviewed within 5 workdays after closure. Approved applicants will receive the update within the next 3 workdays.
How to Rollback OnePlus 9RT from OxygenOS 14 (Android 14) to OxygenOS 13.1 (Android 13)
If you wish to return your OnePlus 9RT to Android 13, follow these steps. Note that this will erase all phone contents, so back up first.
- Download the ROM rollback package.
- Copy it to your phone storage.
- Enable developer mode by going to Settings > About device > Version and tapping the Build number 7 times.
- Go to Settings > About device > Up to date > Local install.
- Select the rollback package, extract, and upgrade.
- After completing, restart your phone.
If you encounter issues with the “Local install” option, try disconnecting all networks and clearing the data of the “Software update” app in system settings.
