The long wait for the much-anticipated OnePlus 13 will finally come to an end next month when the Chinese market receives it, while the sale will take place around the world. Meanwhile, rumors about its features begin to come out where one of the features is that it has set a record in memory.
According to Digital Chat Station, a source respected in Weibo, it is expected to feature up to 24 GB of LPDDR5X RAM. This does compare against how much the best OnePlus 12 can actually manage and indeed far surpasses what most competitors can do.
There is a catch, however. It is likely that the top-of-the-range version of the OnePlus 13, which could come with as much as 24GB of RAM in addition to 1TB of storage, would probably have been priced higher than the predecessor. This will make OnePlus 13 probably one of the costlier options in this range.
The new OnePlus flagships will be the only two models in the new arrivals that will have 24GB of RAM. These will come with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset or MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400.
Other leak specs for the OnePlus 13 include a very strong 6000 mAh battery that will support 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. It is going to also be with quality items like the high-quality vibration motor of the OnePlus 12 and the main camera, so performance and user experience will not be interrupted.
The display would measure 6.8 inches with a resolution of 1440×3168 pixel density, and support micro-curvature on all sides. Improvements in security and durability include the fingerprint ultrasonic sensor and an improved rating of water resistance, hence making the OnePlus 13 a very potent and resilient device.
It will be interesting to look forward to it when the tech world will get this model available. Does the OnePlus 13 live up to its very high expectations and the premium price tag?
