OnePlus is gearing up to launch its new flagship, the OnePlus 13, which could be the first smartphone to feature Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset. With the Snapdragon chip announcement expected soon, the upcoming release of the OnePlus 13 seems more likely. Recent certifications in China have further fueled these expectations.
The OnePlus 13 was recently spotted in the MIIT database, a crucial certification step in China. The device listing under the model number PJZ110 included features such as 5G connectivity, dual SIM capabilities, and the Android operating system.
While the MIIT certification did not reveal much beyond these basics, leaks and reports have provided more details. The OnePlus 13 is set to come with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC and has been shown in GeekBench listings with 16GB of RAM, running the Android 15 OS right out of the box. It is rumored to be powered by a large 6,000mAh battery, supporting both 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
The device will have a triple camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel Sony LYT808 primary sensor, an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a periscope telephoto shooter, all fine-tuned with Hasselblad calibration. Additional features noted include an IP69 rating for superior water and dust resistance and a new green vegan leather option.
In benchmark tests, the OnePlus 13 has reportedly outperformed the iPhone 16’s Apple A18 chipset. The flagship device is anticipated to be announced this September, setting a new benchmark for smartphone capabilities.
