OnePlus 12 Tipped to launch as early as January 2024

We are heading towards the official launch of the OnePlus 12. The brand first launches its flagship smartphones in the Chinese market in the first quarter of every respective year. The same is expected to happen this year with the upcoming OnePlus 12 as well. A fresh leak now claims the launch date of the forthcoming device.

OnePlus 12 Series Launch Month

According to this guy, Max Jamboor who is usually right about OnePlus leaks, the new OnePlus phones are expected to be released around January 2024. He revealed the “OnePlus 12 series,” implying that there will be a slew of new phones. We don’t know yet whether there will be a high-end OnePlus 12 Pro or a more basic OnePlus 12R. There is another rumor about the Lite version; let’s see whether it becomes true.

Just to refresh your memory, the OnePlus 11 will be released in India in February 2023, while the OnePlus 10 Pro and OnePlus 9 series were previously released in March. But wait, rumor has it that the OnePlus 12 will go global as early as January of next year. OnePlus has not yet declared this to be official.

The company has shed light on some of the key features ahead of the big OnePlus 12 debut. It’s powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, a powerhouse that’s expected to power a slew of high-end phones in 2024. Not only that, but they’re including BOE’s latest LTPO OLED display, dubbed the X1 Oriental Screen. This translates to a 2K display with a seriously bright peak brightness of 2,600nits. It’s also aiming for a DisplayMate A+ rating.
