OnePlus is preparing for a significant event on December 4 in Shenzhen, China to celebrate its tenth anniversary. A highlight of this event will be the launch of the OnePlus 12 which will be announced by CEO and founder Pete Lau.
OnePlus 12 Expected Specifications
Leaks and reports have given us a glimpse into what the OnePlus 12 will offer. The device is expected to feature a 6.82-inch LTPO OLED panel made by BOE. This display will have resolution of 1440 x 3168 pixels and peak brightness of up to 2,600 nits.
The OnePlus 12 camera setup is a major upgrade with Sony’s new 48MP dual-layer stacked Lytia 808 main sensor. It’s paired with a 64MP OV64B sensor with a telephoto lens, offering 3x optical zoom. Additionally, a 48MP ultrawide lens will be included to complete the three-camera module.
Performance and Software Specifications
It is confirmed in the Antutu listing that the OnePlus 12 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. The device will also support 100W fast charging.
For software, the OnePlus 12 models sold in China will come with ColorOS 14 based on Android 14. International variants of the phone are expected to run OxygenOS 14, offering a customized experience for global users.
