Nothing Phone (2a) Plus users are getting an update this month with the release of Nothing OS 2.6. This compact update is only 51.21 MB and installs in about 9 minutes, identified by build number PacmanPro-U2.6-240924-223-IND. The update focuses on connectivity improvements, camera enhancements, and system stabilization.
The new update improves the availability of the 5G standalone network feature. It speeds up the registration of SIM2 VoLTE when the phone leaves Airplane Mode. It also resolves a bug where MMS wouldn’t send in some situations and corrects the display of data roaming status to show accurate information.
This update brings better HDR effects for both the front and rear cameras. It enhances zoom clarity in various situations and fixes lagging during night video recordings.
There are improvements to the battery icon’s display in the Status Bar and fixes for occasional system unresponsiveness. These changes enhance the overall stability and smoothness of the operating system. The Android Security Patch has also been updated to October, keeping the device secure against recent security threats.
