Nothing OS 2.5 Beta Revamps Battery Usage UI on Nothing Phone (2)

Nothing OS 2.5 Open Beta 1 was released three weeks ago and since we have been using it on our Nothing Phone (2). It brought many new changes to the phone including new user interfaces, features, and more. With this update, we have a new user interface (UI) for Battery usage with more options.

Previously, there was a simple graph and now the user interface has been completely redesigned. The new Battery usage UI is similar to the Pixel smartphone running Android 14. Now you can see how much battery each app uses, or even system usage. You also have the option to view battery usage daily or by each hour.

Battery Usage UI Comparison in Nothing Phone 1 and Phone 2

Currently, this new battery usage UI is only present on the Nothing Phone (2) running the beta Android 14 update. We can also say that it is not a significant change though because it is an Android 14 implementation. For sure Phone (1) will be also getting this UI change in Nothing OS 2.5 beta update in December.

How to Check Battery Usage on Nothing Phone (1) or Phone (2)

To check battery usage of your Nothing Phone, go to Settings > Battery > Tap on Battery usage. After that, you can view the detailed information about apps and system apps by tapping on ‘View by apps’ or ‘View by systems’.
