Nothing Ear (Open) Details Fully Leaked Just Hours Before Launch

Nothing is all set to create waves in the open-ear earbuds market with its latest creation, Nothing Ear (Open). It has set it for roll-out on September 24, 14:00 UK time; worldwide, however, this will be 15:00 CET, 9 AM New York, 6 AM California, and 18:30 in India.

Much about its semi-transparent design has already been revealed ahead of the official announcement, thanks to detailed images and specifications of the Nothing Ear (Open) that have leaked.

The 14.2mm driver built in titanium-coated polyethylene terephthalate is included with each earbud. The 64 mAh battery fits in each bud, which provides up to eight hours of playback in the earbuds, and with the case, an incredible 30 hours of playback. And on calls, six hours of battery life for the earbuds is provided and 24 hours with the case.

It will have Bluetooth 5.3 with dual connections, IP54 ratings ensuring dust and splash resistance. The earbud features Clear Voice AI for crystal clear calls and ultra-low latency for seamless audio. It also supports ChatGPT when used with a Nothing smartphone.

Interestingly, the Ear (Open) has no active noise cancellation and will initially only be sold in white. For now, there is no word on pricing either.
