New CMF Phone 1 by Nothing is Coming This July

Nothing company finally confirms the launch of the CMF Phone 1, which is the first smartphone under its sub-brand CMF by Nothing. After many rumors, the company has released its first teaser, showing a dial similar to the one seen in CMF Neckband Pro and hints the back will have leather finish.

The company emphasized that the CMF Phone 1 will leverage Nothing’s innovation and meticulous attention to design. They also mentioned that the phone will serve as a wonderful entry point to its entire product ecosystem. “As others overlook this category we’re giving it our full attention,” the company added.

Based on earlier rumors, the CMF Phone 1 will feature a 6.67-inch 120Hz OLED display, a dual-camera setup on the back with a 50MP primary sensor, and 16MP front-facing camera. The device will be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset similar to the Nothing Phone (2a).

The phone is expected to have 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and options for 128GB or 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, with the possibility of expanding memory via a MicroSD card. It will also come with a 5000 mAh battery supporting 33W fast charging.

The CMF Phone 1 will not come with Glyph LED lights at the back but instead of it will have a replaceable plastic back cover and Nothing Lock for exclusive add-ons.

The CMF Phone 1 is anticipated to start at USD 249 (Rs. 20,785) for the 128GB model and USD 279 (Rs. 23,290) for the 256GB model. The phone is expected to launch in July 2024.
