Lava Agni 4 marks a significant upgrade in Lava’s premium smartphone lineup, bringing a refined design, personalised AI features, and competitive mid-range hardware. Priced at Rs 24,999, the device aims to blend performance, simplicity, and AI-driven utility for Indian users.
Lava has moved away from the secondary rear display seen on the Agni 3 and introduced a cleaner pill-shaped camera layout reminiscent of classic LG designs. Alongside the refreshed look, the Agni 4 debuts Lava’s new Vayu AI, built to offer natural, warm, and personalised interactions directly from the home screen. Vayu AI includes tools like AI Math Teacher, AI English Teacher, AI Photo Editor, AI Horoscope, AI Document Analyzer, and AI Image Generator, targeting students, creators, and professionals. The phone also supports Google’s Circle to Search, positioning it as an AI-ready option in the sub-25K segment.
The Lava Agni 4 features a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2,400 nits peak brightness. Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset, paired with 8GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS 4.0 storage. Lava claims an AnTuTu score of over 14 lakh, supported by a 4300mm² VC Liquid Cooling System and Game Booster Mode for sustained performance.
On the camera front, the phone offers a 50MP primary lens, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 50MP selfie camera, with AI scene optimisation tailored to Indian skin tones and festivals. Battery duties are handled by a 5,000mAh unit with 66W fast charging, capable of reaching 50 percent in under 19 minutes.
Running Android 15 with no third-party bloatware, the Agni 4 promises 3 years of Android updates and 4 years of security patches. With IP64 protection, Gorilla Glass, and a Super Anti-Drop Diamond Frame, it aims to deliver durability as well. The phone will be available on Amazon starting November 25 in Phantom Black and Lunar Mist colours.
