With the Nothing OS 2.5 Open Beta update, we have so many new features for Phone (2) but there is still one feature that is very useful for some people. Here we are going to discuss the feature named “Flash Notifications” that is now available with recent updates.
Flash Notifications in Nothing OS 2.5 Beta
The Flash Notifications feature was initially introduced in the Android 14 beta update for Pixel smartphones. Now Nothing has also added this feature to our Nothing Phone (2) with Nothing OS 2.5 Beta update. For sure, the feature will be added to Phone (1) in the coming update.
This works with notifications you receive on your phone or when alarms sound happens. There are two options present in Flash Notification settings which are ‘Camera flash’ and ‘Screen flash’.You can either choose one of them or enable both of them at the same time.
In the Screen flash you can set a custom colour for the notification. You can also preview it before setting it up on your device. There are no options for Camera flash notifications it will just do as normal flash at the back of your phone when your receive any notification.
Enable Flash Notifications Feature on Nothing Phone (2)
To enable Flash notification on your Phone (2), just go to Settings > Accessibility > Scroll down a little bit and Tap on the Flash Notification option. Now you have to decide which flash notification you want to enable either Camera Flash or Screen Flash so its your decision.
