CMF Watch Pro v11.0.0.49 Update Brings Calculator Function

CMF by Nothing, a sub-brand of Nothing launched a smartwatch named CMF Watch Pro a few months ago. The Watch Pro and its app have had lots of updates since their launch. CMF has released yet another update for both CMF Watch Pro and its app.

CMF Watch Pro Update Changelog

Recently, the CMF Watch Pro got a new firmware update of version 11.0.0.49 with an update size of 12.7MB. This update adds a calculator function and refines various text entries with some bug fixes.

How to update the CMF Watch Pro

Open the CMF Watch app and go to the Device page > Update Device > Start Update. Please ensure that your Watch Pro has at least 40% of the charge before updating.

Changes with the update

  1. The major change with this update is the calculator function being added to the Watch Pro. After the latest update, you can find a calculator in the menu of your watch pro. This calculator can do basic functions like multiplication, division, addition, and subtraction.

The calculator is designed on a red, black, and white theme with Nothing’s iconic dotted font being used for numbers, operations, and symbols. The calculator can only perform one operation at a time with only two numbers.

2. This update also fixes the bug with the Always-on display where the day was stuck at Sunday irrespective of the day. The bug is fixed and now it shows the current day and time.

3. Other minor changes with the update :

  • Updated the UI display of some functions
  • Refined various text entries

This update doesn’t bring much of changes or new features except the calculator function which itself is a nice addition, but it needs improvements with the animations for input, haptics and also display the function while calculation.

While the CMF team fixed the issue with always on display, the watch still has some major issues such as the CMF Watch app needs to be in the background otherwise you won’t receive notifications. The watch also has connection issues, and some basic features are missing, such as a double tap to wake. We hope these issues will be also fixed through an update.
