Nothing has been released with a major camera update for CMF Phone 1 in September month. The update is around 47.3 MB in size and does not change the OS version; it remains Nothing OS 2.6, and several features improved from it, including the camera.
To identify this specific update you can check your build number; in my case the build number after this update is Tetris-U2.6-240910-1735-IND.
I have seen improvement in the image quality of photographs after the update; images are crisp and clearer, have crisper colours, and dynamic range. Detailed changes consist of improved focusing where close-up shots come out sharper, and better exposure management in that overexposure does not occur in bright conditions.
Apart from technical up-gradation, it also sells at just ₹12,999 during Flipkart Big Billion Day sale 2024, making it a great deal for those in the market for buying a new phone.
Other new features comprise an interesting one that allows the CMF Watch Pro 2 to access ChatGPT Voice through the phone, although I wasn’t able to find specific option related to this on my watch.
CMF Phone 1 not only updated the camera but also fixed some bugs, including those concerning mistouches which are all sorted. All those updates make experience smooth while making this device much more reliable.
