Asus Officially Teases the Upcoming ROG Phone 8

Asus has now officially teased its upcoming flagship smartphone, “ROG Phone 8” on its official X (formerly Twitter) handle @ASUS_ROG. We could see a faded smartphone in white color and a camera bump along with the phone name in the image.

The ROG Phone 8 has new back design with a unique pentagon-shaped camera island which has three camera sensors and an LED flash. Another notable feature is the side-mounted USB port which is adapted from last year’s ROG Phone 7 series.

Leaked information on Geekbench revealed that the ROG Phone 8 Ultimate will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and equipped with a massive 24GB of RAM. Adding to its high-end specifications, the phone has also received 65W charging certification from China’s 3C agency, promising quick battery recharge times.

The ROG Phone 8 series is expected to launch in early 2024. The lineup is anticipated to include the standard ROG Phone 8 model and a more advanced ROG Phone 8 Pro.
