Apple has started working on new battery technology for its iPhones. According to the report by ETnews, the company is experimenting with cobalt, nickel, manganese, and aluminum for the cathodes.
As we know, during charging the silicon expands. But Apple has a solution for this issue as well. With the mix of new cathodes, we also expect fast charging and battery density. Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) are also used by the company to improve the performance of the battery. The report also claims that this will be the first iPhone to come with this new battery technology and will be launched in 2025.
